Can candles contaminate the cake with paraffin and lighter fluid?

I was wondering if wax form melting candles can contaminate the cAke? If a utility lighter is used to light the candles, is the lighter possibly dripping butane fuel onto the cake?

The fuel from the lighter is burned off immediately, and the wax is not toxic.  It's easy to avoid eating it, it usually stays attached to the candle when you pull them out.  Even if you did eat a little piece of it, that won't hurt you.

    Paraffin wax isn't toxic.

Lighter fluid and butane are not the same.

Butane doesn't leak from lighters. It can't exist as a liquid at room temperature under normal atmospheric pressure.

Butane is a gas at stp. Wax will certainly drip onto the cake.

Lighter fuel would just evaporate in a few seconds/a minute. And it probably wouldn't drip any significant quantity. If any at all.

Candle wax isn't toxic. Though It isn't recommended to consume as it isn't digested, so it could cause a physical blockage. But a few drops on a cake won't be an issue. People swallow gum all the time. And you can easily pick it off.
