Personally, I think that it is NOT disrespectful. We need to educate the future generation! Give them knowledge! Who knows what they would be doing without education. I mean.. subjects like ICT, Computer Science and Science could be a reason to why students know so much about COVID-19 and how to prevent germs spreading.

NO... Not at all.. IT would be disrespectful IF the STUDENTS thought they could just get a free ride and NO EDUCATION from Teachers who care about them.

How far in today's world do you really think you are going to get WITHOUT AN EDUCATION...

Many of you are going to find it impossible to get into a collage now because YOU WILL NOT BE ABLE TO TAKE or PASS THE ENTRANCE EXAM..

You need to get off your phones and do some studying for yourself for a change to better yourself for YOUR FUTURES..

Oh of course. Wanting students to gain knowledge and be smarter is SOOO disrespecful! You should protest. Tell your teachers you want to remain stupid. Or simply just tune them out and you'll remain stupid for a long time.

Is it disrespectful to insist that students do something that will help them do better in life? Is it disrespectful to insist that the next generation has a chance to defend itself against next viruses and attacks of nature by passing on centuries' worth of knowledge? Is it disrespectful to insist that they discover more about how our world works and give them a chance to use that to make it better? Nope.

So what else do you have to do?

Mourn the dead who you never knew anyway?

Do your homework and don't make things more difficult than they have to be.

It's up to you if you do the work but I say you'll feel better if you try to keep your education going and keep your mind off the virus. Your mind is a powerful thing and who knows strengthening it may even help you to fight the virus.
