Should I remove my $60 aftermarket radio from my car if I'm gonna junk it?

The car is wrecked. Should I remove the $60 aftermarket radio I installed in it?

Really, only if you can use it again, otherwise it will just sit around on a shelf gathering dust.  After market is made to fit a variety of cars if you kept the adapter face plates.

Depends on whether it's something you can use on something newer.

Yes, you should, and everything else you might find useful.

Yes, because you may need it in the next car you buy.  If not, you can always just throw it out.

$60 stereo?  Audiovox or Kraken?  Remove it before the junkyard dude starts laughing.

It is your car and your radio. Do what you want.
