How many and what types of rooms are in an animal hospital?
Do vets have their own exam room and office?

That depends entirely on the specific facility.
For a small animal vet practice (cats, dogs, etc), there will always be an operating room (maybe two if it is a large practice), several exam rooms, a reception/checkout area where people wait with their pets, storage rooms, private offices and miscellaneous other rooms. A very large practice will have more of each of those kinds of rooms. A small practice will have only the minimum.
A large animal practice - horses, cows, sheep etc.- a lot of the care is done off site, where the animals are. They probably still have some of the same rooms, though.

One for surgery. One for the vet's office where there's probably a computer and papers and stuff. A waiting room. And some other rooms probably for all the different animals.

It’s like a hospital. There are several room for the patient and family. There’s also an operating room.
They share the facility.
