How does Ceres have ice volcanoes erupting still with no tidal heating source?
Perhaps small bodies can keep volcanism going ice or rock if the right conditions are met.

Ceres, like Earth, is believed to have radiogenic internal heating.
It's not hot enough to melt rock - as it is for the Earth - but it is warm enough to keep highly saline brine liquid when under pressure below the surface.

With no Tidal heating, Ceres is not out as far as the Ice Line
Plus it still could hold residual heat from its Formation
It is sizable enough to be a Proto Planet, along with Vesta
It is known now for many Asteroids to have a covering of ice
