How likely is it for someone to not have their first outbreak of herpes for a year or longer?

I read that usually people get their first outbreak with 12 days after exposure. So what percentage of ppl do u think get the first  outbreak that takes a year or longer? Is the likelihood for that happening very small?

  • It's not common, but it's possible. You would have to have a very healthy immune system to suppress break outs or a year or longer.

Most people that get infected usually get a break out with in a week or two of being exposed.
