Did you wish to have born in another country?

No. VERY glad I was born in Canada. My father was a U.S. citizen. He came to Canada to join the army in July '41. He met my mother here & they married. Post- war, he wanted to return to the U.S., but her family objected, so they compromised by living in Windsor Ont., across from Detroit. The U.S. is a severely f-ed up place, & I missed it by the 5,128 ft. (1.56 km.) length of the Detroit-Windsor tunnel!
