Do you think there will be a day when humans engage in war not on Earth ?
On the Moon, outer-space, etc ?

I certainly hope not!

Where ever human beings go, they inevitably make war. So if human beings ever establish a permanent presence in space, there will eventually be war in space. That's just an unfortunate fact of human nature.

I think Politics will be a thing of the past by that time

The next war will be fought with explosives. The war after that will be fought with stone axes and spears.

As soon as Mars has a sustainable colony, they will declare independence, and will be immediately attempted to be nuked from Earth.
There is very little doubt about it.

Certainly not in our lifetimes. Except in movies. There are never enough people in space at any given time for them to have a war. When there are settlements on the moon, or Mars, they might have wars, but that will not be for centuries! (Or 'A long time ago in a galaxy far away . . . ').
Neil DeGrass Tyson believes mankind will never leave the solar system. And on most planets in the solar system, the conditions are so unlivable that they will probably never be colonized, no matter how long we travel in space.
