I have some keystone custodian funds from 1961 & 62.  Are they worth anything?  They're series s4?

You only have some papers showing that investment. You don't know if those funds were ever sold.  Keystone merged with Evergreen in 1996 and Evergreen later became part of Wachovia and at some point, all Keystone funds were merged into other funds and their names changed. Wells Fargo now owns the remnants of Wachovia. You should have, over the years, received numerous mailings with information about was happening or going to happen with those funds. If you don't have any of that, then it's likely those funds were cashed in years ago.  You can try contacting Wells Fargo.

Maybe.  Keystone became part of Evergreen, then part of Wachovia, and then Wells Fargo, according to this wikipedia article.  It's just possible that they are still worth something.
