How do feel about using the Mc prefix for first names?

McKaitlin

McLisa

McShawn

McMichael

Thoughts?

Update:

Please get out of here with your vintage values. There's plenty of women with Mc in their last names

The 'Mc/Mac/M'' is from Scottish Gaelic and means the 'SON of' . then generally followed by the 'FATHER's' name. e.g. MacDonald; the son of Donald.

In Gaelic, mac or 'mc' means 'son of' and so for instance McDonald means son of Donald. Using it on a female name would be especially strange.
