    And btw - "trickle down" economics was his idea - and he eventually admitted it was a bad idea!

      "Trickle down" was what the media called his economic policy. "Supply Side Economics" is what he called it and it worked very well actually, from the early 80s throughout the '90s.

    No, he wasn't.  He's not even in the top five.  Historians and political scientists rank the top five greatest presidents, in descending order, as:

    1. Abraham Lincoln

    2. George Washington

    3. Franklin Delano Roosevelt

    4. Thomas Jefferson

    5. Theodore Roosevelt

    There is a fair degree of debate about Reagan, but he generally falls somewhere in the teens or lower 20s, making him just above middling.
