Chemistry Equation?

If I have 475.0 g of water at 75.0 ◦C, how much energy would it take to turn it all into water vapor at 1 atm? (Lf = 334 J/g  and Lv = 2,260 J/g)

    (4.184 J/g·°C) x (475.0 g) x (100.0 - 75.0)°C =

49685 J to heat the water to its boiling point

    (2260 J/g) x (475.0 g) = 1073500 J to vaporize the water

    49685 J + 1073500 J = 1123185 J = 1123 kJ total
