Can you rent out your FHA property?

What if u still make payments but live else where.

    yes, but I think you have to live there for like a year before you do that.

    You mean rent out your house with a FHA loan on it?  You can after you have lived there 1 year.  If you do it before the year is up and claim hardship they probably won't actually do anything about it but you'd better move in for at least a few months.

    FHA requires owner occupancy for at least one year. But FHA is only the insurer of the mortgage. Each individual lender is free to require owner occupancy for the duration of the loan. So you would have to read the mortgage documents you signed.
