How will a guy who filed a tax return and is receiving social security going to receive his Covfefe-19 relief check?

1. direct deposit to his bank account

2. a check through the mail from the IRS

Update:

I read that social security recipients will get it through direct deposit to his bank account. So, does filing a tax return negate that, and the check will come through the mail instead?

Steve Munchin said if you filed and got a refund by direct deposit, you will get the stimulus check by direct deposit too.

I'm in that exact same situation, so I think they will use my direct deposit Social Security information.

Depends on how that guy received his tax refund, just like everybody else.

    DDS or Snail Mail.

If he gave the IRS his direct deposit info on his return, he will get direct deposit, otherwise a check will be in the mail.
