They're not the same tractors, but the brands are owned and manufactured by the same corporation. CNH Industrial builds Case and New Holland agricultural and industrial tractors, as well as Iveco trucks and buses. They are a subsidiary of Fiat.

They are not exactly the same tractors, they are just owned by the same company. Case makes Steiger, International, Case, now called Case IH, & New Holland.

  • Since November 1999 When CNH was formed, They hodge podged all models for a bit " an example was new holland having super steer front ends while case did not. and then started making all similar models. After a time they started changing features and power ratings to try and differentiate between the brands so their similar models did not directly compete against each other.

Some might think they are different because of color, hood style , cab features  and so forth but as a farmer that owns both and looks at them from the perspective of having exactly the same engines, transmissions and final drives they are exactly the same where it counts. now they just tweak the horsepower ratings and features a bit to make them unique.
