Is this song ok?

Feels like I’m alone in a dark room,

There’s no way out

It’s like I’m locked in a prison cell,

With a key that’s been thrown out

Sitting in the corner shaking,

Wishing everything’s alright

The hours pass as I sit there,

Not aware of the time I’ve missed

As the darkness surrounds me

Feels like I’m drowning,

Drowning in my thoughts

No one can hear my calls for help

Feels like I’m drowning,

Far out at sea,

With no one who can save me

I’m all choked up,

My throat runs dry

My body feels heavier every step I take,

Feeling like I’m barely awake

Sitting in class as my mind drifts away;

Thinking to myself, Why can’t I be like everyone else

The hours pass as I sit there,

Not aware of the time I’ve missed

As the darkness surrounds me

Feels like I’m drowning,

Drowning in my thoughts

No one can hear my calls for help

Feels like I’m drowning,

Far out at sea,

With no one who can save me

Standing at the side,

Felling numb

It’s clear I’m falling apart,

While I pretend I’m not

The demons I’m battling in my head,

Are taking over me

I look like a mess of tears and despair,

With red cheeks and dark eye bags

The shine that was one in my eyes,

You can’t even see anymore

Feels like I’m drowning,

Drowning in my thoughts

No one can hear my calls for help

Feels like I’m drowning,

Far out at sea,

With no one who can save me

I’m drowning,

Drowning in my thoughts

Drowning

Far out at sea,

With no one to save me

Update:

*At the beginning there isn’t meant to be a gap

Update 2:

I meant lyrics for a song I’m making but if you want I’ll make a cheesy love song

That's not a song - songs have both music and lyrics. This is the typical angst-ridden drivel that emo teens like to pretend is lyrics to an imaginary song. Cheer the heck up!

    Edited to add:

It doesn't have to be cheesy love song; there's a lot of room between the crap you wrote and that.

I think this song is relatable for a lot of people struggling with things like depression and is emotional

No. This song creates, fosters, and strengthens any inner unhappiness.

The more we attend to an emotion or thought, the stronger it becomdes.

WHY would you want to MAKE yourself feel this way? When it is actually SO easy to turn around and find something - anything - to savor and be thankful in your life?

Why go OUT of your way to make yourself even MORE miserable?

Actually, everything IS alright. You have a place to live, a computer/cell phone, food, health, are not wracked with brutal physical pain, are not being tortured by prison guards. The light is streaming in through your window, etc etc etc.

All YOU have to do is stop feeding your self-pity and decide that you want to and deserve to be happy instead.

If this is the way you troll, Escape from Pretoria is a movie you should watch.
