Is it better to smile and admit defeat, or to wallow in your anger and plot revenge?

Better to smile. The idea of controlling your anger is beautifully expressed by the Bible psalmist David. He said: “Let anger alone and leave rage; do not show yourself heated up only to do evil.” (Psalm 37:8)

Smile and plot revenge. Revenge is a dish best served cold and with a smile.

You're not such a loser when you smile, shake hands and congratulate the winner. You don't win all the time. A good idea is to remember how you felt, and not to rub it in to the person you defeat when you do win The only thing worse than a sore loser is a sore winner.

The best revenge is to show people how happy you are.
