What is a TV called that mounts on the wall? ?
Every time I look it up, it just shows me the actual wall mount instead of TV and it’s driving me insane

It depends on the mount. There are mounts for older tube type sets, and there are mounts for flat screen TV's.

A TV. It doesn't change its spots when you mount it somewhere else.

It's still just a TV. You can mount pretty much every TV to the wall nowadays.

All modern TVs have provisions for wall mounting.
Buy a TV and a separate bracket,
assemble according to the instructions,
and voila' --- you have a wall-mounted TV.
If you have any further trouble with this,
consult a local home theater installer.

If you mount the TV on the wall using a wall mount

EVERY flat screen TV sold can be mounted on the wall with the right mount. You just remove the stand from the bottom.

The individual TV's under their specs, will tell you if it is capable of being wall mounted or not. If you have a TV, read your owners manual. If you are looking for a new on, you need to read all the garbage they come with.
