or..

My sister is the most clever one in the family

    I think it would be "my sister is the most clever one in the family"

    I think it would be most clever, when you have an -er ending, it would end up sounding funny for the comparative -er form, i.e. cleverer.

    Saying cleverest already means most cleverest, no need to use most.

    Say cleverest or most clever. Most cleverest is wrong.
