Doesn't the Corona virus seem like just another flu virus?

corona virus is a ubiquitous common virus found everywhere .. its not new .. some strains develop occasionally that are worse to humans .. this has been known for years also and its information anybody can find if they research for 5 minutes instead of listening to leftist idiots in the media hyping it to make twumpy look bad .. but thats what theyre supposed to do so things can get done so to speak .. theyre more or less enabling conservative policy that will be implemented permanently lol .....

Not even close. Corona virus attacks the lungs directly. Flu is an upper respiratory illness. It can develop into pneumonia, but doesn't usually.

It is just another flu virus. The media is to blame for causing panic but people are just as foolish as they sheepishly believe everything they're told. It stands to reason that if you're coughing, sneezing and feeling awful, the last thing you'd want to do is eat. Fighting over toilet paper! The media have outdone themselves this time and it sets a dangerous precedent. What will they do when the next flu strain arrives?
To all those brain dead people stripping shelves and standing in line to get tested and helping to deplete medical stocks - because you're obviously so necessary to the continuation of the species - I hope you feel ashamed of yourselves in the next couple of months when this is over.

you are correct, do not allow this virus to enter your lungs. three things we should remember, brush your teeth 2 times morning and bed time , gargle your mouth at least 3 times, gargle your throat with clean water mixed with pinch of salt, you will find good result

No, it doesn't. The coronavirus has a death rate between 2-4%. That's 10-20 times the death rate of influenza.

Yes but i believe it is a cold virus and its cold season go figure do you remember the swine flew 10 years ago the news barely reported it now this strain is jammed down watchers throats. and that being the swine flew my friend was not delt with like what we have delt with here. The only difference is the Media coverage it has been politicised and that sells. Ask another who understands this and they will tell you moreSource(s): Blame, gloom and. doom, think about it not mammas medicine. who cares?

No, it is a virus like nothing we have ever seen in history since 1918 (before any of us were alive). This is nothing like the flu, it makes the flu look like a sneeze only.

Not considering its death rate.

No. Not even close. Influenza viruses kill 10s of thousands of people every year globally. COVID-19 symptoms are the same as a common cold. The common cold has never killed anyone who has a normal immune system. The people we've lost from coronavirus already had a compromised (weak) immune system.

By the numbers it's not even equal to the flu. There have been UNDER 5000 deaths from the CV worldwide. There have been OVER 22,000 deaths from the flu in the USA alone. Other estimates have the flu at 52,000 deaths in the US.
