Do you think Tom Hanks retire from acting since he is testing positive for corona virus?

Tom is dying, he is not dead yet. It is unknown how much he has to live. It is unknown when he will stop acting. But if he had one year to live. He will make one good movie before he dies.

You are EVIL!  SHAME on you!  How are you going to feel if he makes it and continues to act?

I'm afraid you know very little about the virus. If you read the newspapers or listened to a reputable news programme you would know that not more than about 3 % of people who test positive actually die. Testing positive is by no means a death sentence.

This is TOTALLY DIFFERENT from when the AIDS epidemic got going back in the 1980s. Then, it pretty well did mean you would die.

But the coronavirus is not at all the same. There is no reason at all to assume Tom Hanks is dying. Or Prince Charles, or the British Prime Minister Boris Johnson.

No, when he recovers, he'll go on working.

What?  No - of course not.

He is NOT dying, and more than anyone else is.  Yes, he has Covid-19 and is in isolation, but almost everyone recovers from it quite quickly. There's nothing to suggest that he's really ill, going to retire or will die any time soon. Many actors go on working well into their 90s.

He's already made a movie about a guy slowly dying from a terrible disease.

Tom and Rita are not dying. They're in isolation so they don't spread it.
