do hand sanitizers really kills the coronavirus?
do hand sanitizers really kills the coronavirus? or is it just another myth?

The alcohol kills it but it doesn't always remove the microbes from your hands. Soap and water work best and are generally a lot less harsh on your hands. Hand sanitizer is fine if you don't have access to a sink, but ideally you should be washing your hands.

Only if the hand sanitizer contains at least 60% alcohol and you start of a sufficient in one palm and thoroughly distribute it over your hand between fingers, under finger nails , takes about 20 to 30 secondsSource(s): CDC

Yes. Assuming higher than 60% alcohol and that it is used properly, then the alcohol will break the virus outer "casing", killing the virus.

They do help a lot if you are not by a sink, but soap and water does a much better job.
