Why would you want to develop  foot fungus from that nasty ground floor

    That would be cool!

    Probably can't though.

You can ask the person running the ride if you can.

    IDK good luck bro!

I’m sure the rules don’t apply if the roller coaster is inside a theme park that also has water rides that allow you to take your shoes off and put them in a locker. Footwear is probably required if it’s a theme park without water rides or any chance to soil or wet your clothing.

For the most part, no. There are some exceptions but most require footwear.

yes. many have ridden without shoes. its better tho not wear them than have them become a missile that could hurt someone.

On the inverted coasters, where your seats hang under the track, they will make people remove their shoes if they will likely fall off (such as flip flops).  But otherwise, they will generally require that you wear your shoes.  And I don't know why you would want to be barefoot like that in an amusement park.

I’m sure there’s some amusement park somewhere that doesn’t care. The reputable ones won’t let you.

No. But I once did lose my shoe on a roller coaster called "Batman: The Ride" Luckily, when I got down to the exit, some guy was kind enough to get it for me and hand it to me so I didn't have to walk around with only one shoe.
