Why doesn't Israel built the third temple in Jerusalem?
- 3 months agoFavorite Answer
They are unable to do so right now, because of the Muslims. The Jews believe where the Dome of the Rock, the Muslims sacred Mosque is built now, is where their Temple needs to be built. If they Tried to build the 3rd Temple there, there would be a Holy War started and all Muslims would attack them.
When the 7 Year Peace Agreement is signed by the Jews and Muslims, facilitated by the antichrist, is when the Muslims will allow the Jews to rebuild their Temple.

The VAST MAJORITY of Jews don't care one way or the other. Only a handful of fundamentalist Jews support the temple.

THERE are a few reasons why the TEMPLE is not yet build, political, location and religious, however if they listen to the words of JESUS concerning the TEMPLE it would not be a problem,JESUS said not one stone shall be left on top of another, this was accomplish when ROME destroyed it in 70 AD and removed every stone that was on top of another because they were looking for gold that was in the temple thous the wailing wall is not the location the temple once stood,it is the remains of a fort that was build for the solders, horses and chariots,is is where they slept not in the temple, the actual location is in the city of DAVID that is the actual location the temple once stood,so the question is why are those huge stones standing on top of another at the so to believe temple mount,JESUS surely made no mistake.

What 3rd temple? Oh yes, it's something the orthodox Jews have always wanted and the Christians who tie that with the eminent return of Jesus Christ. Of course.................If you believe all that. Probably now would not be the good time to try that..............wait until Jared Kushner sets himself up as the "anti-christ" and rules the world, Trump is not mentioned......................he's dead by then. Do you want me to go on............Magog is Russia, no......wait..........it's the Iranians.......no..........it's ISIS............no it's the Taliban and Syria in alliance with Russia..............no wait, I think it's Iraq.............no it's the newly anointed "King of Persia" Donald Trump via the laying on of hands of Paula White...................Oh I don't know what it is....................When the Oklahoma State Cowboys win a national football title....................thennnnnnnnnnnnnnn the time is near!!!!!

It would require
A - the razing of the third most holy site in Islam
B - the excavation of several ancient Muslim cemeteries
- - - note: located on the paths to the Temple Mount explicitly to prevent the Jewish people from being able to access the Temple Mount
The result would likely be: all Islamic-run nations uniting in war against Israel.
Even if Israel could survive such a united military assault (which I doubt, but it's possible)
it would be "political suicide" for the Israelite politicians who instituted the plan
a plan that resulted in involving Israel in a lengthy and costly and deadly multi-national war.

Were anyone to build a temple, it would be the fourth. The first was built by Solomon, of course. It was destroyed by the Babylonians (Jeremiah 52:13) when the Jews were taken into Babylonian captivity. The second temple was rebuilt by governor Zerubbabel when Cyrus the Great delivered the Jews from Babylonian exile, restored them to their land, and helped to restore pure worship. Ezra 1:1-6.
The third temple was rebuilt by King Herod. He had to have all the materials and everything else ready before the Jews would allow him to tear down the temple and replace it. They didn't trust Herod (a nominal Jew) as far as they could spit. The Jews did not consider this temple a third one – they simply referred to it as ‘rebuilt.’ The previous temple rebuilt by governor Zerubbabel was quite modest in comparison to this grand temple Herod built. Concerning it, Josephus wrote that it was “covered on all sides with massive plates of gold, the sun was no sooner up than it radiated so fiery a flash that persons straining to look at it were compelled to avert their eyes, as from the solar rays. To approaching strangers it appeared from a distance like a snow-clad mountain; for all that was not overlaid with gold was of purest white.” This one, history reports, was destroyed in 70 C.E.
As to why Israel has not rebuilt a (fourth) temple, it is interesting that while Jesus plainly and prophetically stated that the temple would be destroyed, he made no mention of it ever being rebuilt. Indeed, he said to the Jews that there house would be abandoned to them. It had to be there for fulfilling the prophecies about the Messiah, but no temple is needed after that. This is not to say that the temple would NEVER be rebuilt. Perhaps some people WOULD be successful in regaining the temple mount, destroying what is sitting there now, and rebuilding a temple. But it seems highly unlikely and, more to the point, there is no need for a physical Jewish temple in Israel or anywhere else for that matter.

Isn't it ironic how the disciples asked this same question before the Day of Pentecost in Acts 1:6-7 that says
6 "When they therefore were come together, they asked of him, saying, Lord, wilt thou at this time restore again the Kingdom to Israel?
7 And he said unto them, It is not for you to know the times or the seasons, which the Father hath put in His own (((POWER")))?
AFTERWARDS JESUS TOLD them
"After Holy Spirit baptism" (Acts 1:5) >>>YOU<<< shall receive (((POWER))) (Acts 1:8)
To "restore again the Kingdom to Israel" (Acts 1:7)!
GOD SAID in Isaiah 42:6; GNT
“I, the Lord, have called you and given you (((POWER))) [Received after Holy Spirit baptism; Acts 1:5;8]
to see that justice is done on earth.
Through you I will make a covenant with all peoples;
through you I will bring light to the nations."
It's SAD but "Crim Liar" has it RIGHT about Today's Christians
They are sitting on the couch like a crackhead waiting for daddy to bring home the bacon when GOD HAS GIVEN TRUE CHRISTIANS (((POWER))) (Acts 1:8) after Holy Spirit baptism (Acts 1:5)
>>>TO CHANGE THE WORLD!<<<
and to "...restore the Kingdom to Israel" (Acts 1:7)!
BUT THEY ALL ARE SITTING AROUND (((POWERLESS))) DUE TO THE BELIEF IN A (((POWERLESS))) WATER BAPTISM (MATTHEW 28:19) BELIEVING THE LIE THE ANTICHRIST ADDED INTO SCRIPTURE TO
>>>CONTROL THE MASSES<<<
WHICH LEFT THEM (((POWERLESS))) AND STILL IN THEIR SINS!

John 2:21, "But he spake of the temple of his body. But He was speaking of the temple of His body. But he spake of the temple of his body. But his words were about that holy building which was his body. But *he* spoke of the temple of his body. But he spoke of the temple of his body. But He was speaking of the Sanctuary of His body."
