should i get a pet alligator?

    No. If they are anything like tegus (and tegus don't get as big as alligators), they have strong jaws, sharp teeth, which adds up to a painful bite that can draw a fair amount of blood. And they don't like to let go if they think your finger is something edible. Pass. I learned a new respect for alligators after having a couple of 3 foot tegus.

    They can look and act lazy but run lightning quick at the snap of a finger if they are chasing after something. Imagine that in a carnivorous lizard 5+ feet long. No thank you.

    Poor trolls have lame questions. I have had small gators they suck they are mess and need to much space.  Got them from people who thought it was cool then realized they were to stupid to keep it

    No. They are too dangerous when fully grown, and they require too much space when grown. Chances are that you would have to find a zoo or aquarium to accept it or you will end up releasing it in a local pond or river, and that poses danger to the public.
