No one knows.  You need to investigate China and the region where it began (and nobody can.)

    There are two basic theories:

    1) that it originated in animals (and various strains have been in animals - including dogs, FOR YEARS and all over the world) and that due to their weird eating habits a RAW animal (possibly a bat -carrying the strain) was ingested and then a person or persons GOT sick & began transmitting it.

Two: China does have a BIOLOGICAL Weapons Lab in the AREA where the new deadly coronavirus started and it may have leaked out (by accident, or on purpose).  The reasons to leak it (on purpose) vary - but look at how many people SHOOT UP their places of work, when angry.....

no one knows for certain.  Is it only a coincidence that the outbreak began in a relatively small Chinese town where a level 4 bio weapons lab is known to exist?  If you believe in coincidences, the answer is yes.  I don't think a coincidence explains this one.

    No.

Viruses mutate over time. Viruses multiply by using the DNA of their host... So they easily do change and develop new strains.

Coronavirus is NOT "new"... This is just a new strain.

No, it wasnt developed in a lab.

There is a theory that the lab in China accidentally created the corona virus. It's not proven, but that appears to be the best explanation right now.

No, it most likely came from bats. (the kind that fly)
