Would it be horrible to not invite my grandmother to my high school graduation?

I really just want it to be a small thing. I don't even really want to go to begin with, I'm just going for my mom.

Events like graduations are for those who sacrificed to get you to where you are. They're less for you and more for those who put in the work. So invite Gran and stop being petty. You won't even have to see her because you'll be somewhere else in the room.

She is your grandmother and is probably really proud of you, it would be hurtful not to.

It would be kinder to invite her, wouldn't it? And will it really be the end of the world if she comes? These occasions are for family as much as the subject (you in this case). Like birthdays.

Ask your mother how she would feel about it. if you are going to make enemies in your family over it, then invite her.

It does seem rude but if your not much into it she should be ok with it
