Why Dismantle the family
- ZirpLv 71 month ago
unfortunately English doesn't distinguish family from family.
Some feminists want to dismantle the *nuclear* family because they've had horrible experiences with it. Being beaten to a pulp by mommy, being raped by daddy. Heck, some 70 years ago it wasn't even illegal to rape your own wife.
Also, it takes a village to raise a child. Having only 1 or 2 rolemodels simply is not enough

“Why do feminists want to break up the family ?”
The prominent feminists have told us long ago why they want to break up the family. It’s just that so many other feminists are ashamed to come out and admit the things those feminists said, so they buried that information for as long as they could. Thankfully we live in the age of the internet where free information is not so easy to suppress like it once was.
Have a listen to what prominent feminist have to say regarding the family:
The nuclear family must be destroyed... Whatever its ultimate meaning, the break-up of families now is an objectively revolutionary process.
We can't destroy the inequities between men and women until we destroy marriage.
The care of children ..is infinitely better left to the best trained practitioners of both sexes who have chosen it as a vocation...[This] would further undermine family structure while contributing to the freedom of women.
"In order to raise children with equality, we must take them away from families and communally raise them" -- Dr. Mary Jo Bane, feminist and assistant professor of education at Welleslry College and associate director of the school's Center for Research on Woman
"The institution [of marriage] consistently proves itself unsatisfactory--even rotten.... The family is...directly connected to--is even the cause of--the ills of the larger society." -- Shulamith Firestone, The Dialectic of Sex: The Case for Feminist Revolution (New York: Morrow, 1970), p. 254.
"No woman should be authorized to stay at home and raise her children. Society should be totally different. Women should not have that choice, precisely because if there is such a choice, too many women will make that one." -- Interview with Simone de Beauvoir, "Sex, Society, and the Female Dilemma," Saturday Review, June 14, 1975, p.18
"The nuclear family is a cornerstone of woman's oppression: it enforces women's dependence on men, it enforces heterosexuality and it imposes the prevailing masculine and feminine character structures on the next generation." -- Alison Jaggar
"The simple fact is that every woman must be willing to be identified as a lesbian to be fully feminist." -- (National NOW Times, Jan. 1988)
A lot of faux feminists usually answer these kind of questions by speaking for themselves as self-identified feminists, telling us that since they themselves don’t believe that, or perhaps they are even married, then “feminism” is not anti-family.
The problem here is that they are not true feminists in the sense that they do not follow the feminist movement as it is defined through the actions of the prominent feminist that hold positions of power and authority in the movement as it exists TODAY. Those feminists appeal to classic feminism which is long over.
And they also don’t insist that the current crop of feminists live up to their definition of classic feminism. Therefore feminism is as it’s defined by the midandrist and anti-family prominent members that hold power TODAY, and not the ideas of yesterday as defined in the dictionary.

A family is the goal of every man. A woman can not understand that. Women have other goals however could not at any time tell you what they are without lying to a man about it.

We actually don't, but you guys seem to enjoy lies.

Family stands in the way of total government control of our lives, so it has been a target of libtards since the 1960s.

I've never understood that. TRUE feminists don't. They're strong and self confident. They don't hate men and don't believe that marriage is legalized 'rape'.

I think they contribute to households.

I think it has something to do with Identity Politics, where they believe that the Western World is a social construct, an unjust male-dominated patriarchal society. The more people who are without a male role model the more people the radical Left can turn into victims who think society owes them something. That fuels the political correctness of that feminist movement. It also causes some feminists to define feminism differently, they are no longer in agreement with the more radical Leftists.Source(s): bisexual Christian

1. The strong, nuclear family is one of the biggest threats to liberals. They will try to ruin it any way they can.
2. Feminists are just angry no men actually want them. They want to convince women they don't need no man so they can spread their misery to others.
