Jesus Christ, the king of God's Kingdom, walked the earth. Jesus, as king, ousted Satan and the demons out of heaven to the vicinity of the earth in 1914, bringing about World War 1. People have become more and more ungodly ever since. This is because of the influence of the Devil and his cohorts the demons. You can believe it or not. As King of God's Kingdom, and Leader of the preaching of the good news, Jesus has been helping to get that urgent work done from North Pole to Antarctica. There is only one religion, that I know of, that is doing what Jesus told his followers to do and these are known earth-wide as Jehovah's Witnesses..--Matthew 28:19+20 and Matthew 24:14---We are now awaiting God's final war against all wickedness, "Armageddon."--Revelation 16:16---I invite you to learn more about what the Bible teaches from the international website, of more than 1,000 languages, www.jw.org and Bible Teachings > Online Lessons. Thank you for this question.

THE kingdom of God has always been of primary importance to Christians. The pre-Christian servants of God also looked forward to the Kingdom. In fact, the Kingdom is the theme of the entire Bible, for it is the kingdom of God that will sanctify Jehovah’s name and bring peace and blessings to humankind. Jesus spoke often of the Kingdom; he put it to the fore and set forth many parables concerning the Kingdom.

However, all evidences now show that the King has taken his power in heaven and has begun his reign and therefore we again hear proclaimed world wide the message, “The kingdom of the heavens has drawn near.” Just as with the preaching of Jesus when the kingdom of heaven was at hand in the days of earthly Zion or Jerusalem, so in these days the proclamation “the kingdom of heaven is at hand” is accompanied by the declaration of judgment on the Babylonish religious leaders.

When something is at hand, it means you can reach it very very quickly and easily, and that's what Jesus was saying about God's kingdom.  Paul confirmed it when he told us that - Jesus Christ - "The Word" is NEAR you - (meaning close at hand, easily reached) - in your mouth and in your heart- (that is the word of faith that we preach), that if you confess with your mouth the Lord Jesus, and believe in your heart that God has raised Him from the dead, you shall be saved.  For with the heart one believes unto righteousness, but with the mouth confession is made unto salvation (Romans 10: 9 & 10)

It means that God isn't just some distant entity beyond space. He is right here among us.

It means that we are living in the last days. What the Bible says. "In the last days critical times hard to deal with will be here." (2 Timothy 3:1) Bible prophecy, combined with current events, identifies our times as "the last days." What else can we learn from the Bible? (1) The last days would be marked by wars, famines, earthquakes, and epidemics of deadly disease.- Matthew 24:3, 7; Luke 21:11. (2) During the last days, human society would suffer a serious moral and spiritual breakdown.- 2 Timothy 3:2-5. What does the future hold for humankind? Some people believe...that the last days will end with the destruction of the earth and everyone on it, while others hope that conditions will improve. What do you think? What the Bible says. "The righteous will possess the earth, and they will live forever on it."- Psalm 37:29. What else can we learn from the Bible? (1) The last days will end with the removal of all wickedness.- 1 John 2:17. (2) The earth will be transformed into a paradise.- Isaiah 35:1, 6.

    • And the people during the Black Death were as convinced, THEN, as you are NOW, that THOSE were the last days. They were WRONG, so what makes you think these are any more likely to be the VERY last day.

    The Gospel is being taught:

Jesus instructed His Apostles to teach only what He Himself taught for 3.5 years while on earth: The Gospels of Mark(except 16:9-20) and Matthew. Genesis is good background.
