why do ANY European countries still want to be part of the "European Union"? why anyone wants what they have offered so far?

and what have they offered? i mean what do tax payers, voters get? they get higher taxes to pay for unwanted migrants to come over and commit crimes? why is there not an uproar at this point to get the hell out of the E.U. **a.s.a.p.**? (as of yesterday)?

ok, but again, why have there not been a huge uproar about the immigration policies , etc. i mean why any of them want in the EU anymore now?

Politics is all about manipulation to get what you want - and you have to think long term to make it work.

The first step is to get all the rich countries together in some sort of free-trade agreement (EFTA).

Then you ramp that up and make it more formal (EEC).

Then you make it difficult to leave (EU).

Then you add in lots of poor countries.

You add in the small/poorer countries for two reasons: You want to expand your influence and you can make a case for it being democratic.

In the EU they went from 12 fairly rich countries to 28 countries. So the poor countries can now outvote the rich ones. They do that because they can now bribe the poor countries with money/subsidies/aid from the rich countries.

The Paris Climate Accord worked the same way. It is a time-honoured Globalist technique.

So the main rich countries, which are being run by Globalists like Macron and Merkel, can sway the central organisation and they can buy as many votes from other countries as they need to get their way.

Every time a country votes to leave they fight back by asking for a second vote, or by changing the rules, or by using the courts/scare tactics/threats etc.

After the UK gave a clear mandate to leave in a referendum in which more UK people voted than ever before, we had all those struggles and when they saw we were determined that tried to strike an agreement that had us leave in name only.

They are still trying to keep control over the UK while "allowing" us to "leave".

The Globalist Deep State is ubiquitous and takes some opposing. It took a referendum, some General Elections and some changes of prime Minister but we, eventually, do seem to be making headway - at least for the time being.

So, it all started as a way to improve trade with the Common Market but the plan was to morph that into a United States of Europe with its own president, anthem, flag and military using it as the "thin end of the wedge."

It is like the apocryphal frog being slowly heated in a pot - they hope you will not notice until it is too late.

The EU started off as a common travel and Customs area.  It would have been fine had it stayed that way. However, leftists and globalists (calling themselves "centerists") have dominated the EU Parliament since its inception. The result has been a concerted effort to destabilize the western democracies through mass immigration by people from poisonous cultures. That is finally starting to change as conservatives are gaining political support and working against the conspiracy to turn the world into a globalist socialist "paradise".

You are ignorant of the whole picture; there are many benefits, including free tariff trading.
