How do you caculate the base of triangle knowing the height and area (Look on details it explains better)?

I have maths homework and it has a triangle and says the area is 165 cm squared and the height is 15 cm. I have to caculate the base.

    A = (1/2)*B*H =>

    B = 2A/H = 22 cm.

    A = (1/2)hb, ie., area = (1/2)(height)(base). Here, A = (165) [cm]^2 and h = 15 [cm].

    Then b = A/(h/2) = 2A/h = 300 [cm]^2/15 [cm] = (300/15) [cm] = 20 [cm].

    A = area of the triangle; b = base of the triangle; h = height of the triangle.

    Formula: A = (1/2) * b * h ==> b = (2 * A) / h.

    Hence: b = (2 * 165 cm^2) / 15 cm = 330 cm^2 / 15 cm = 22 cm.

    Base of triangle: (165*2)/15 = 22 cm

    Check for area: 1/2*15*22 = 165 square cm

    To find the area of a triangle, multiply the base by the height, and then divide that number by 2.

    Therefore to find the base multiply the area by 2 and then divide by the height

    (165 * 2) / 15 = 22cm
