Does this sound like 1600 calories? ?

Two large slices of pizza 500 cal each x2 = 1000

One slice toast = 100 cal

Jelly = 250 cal

Avocado = 250

    Phones and computers come with calculators. Maybe use yours.

    Are you trying to gain a gob of weight or something? All that grain and the sugar in the jelly? Those aren't weight loss foods.

    Your math is correct. No idea where you got the numbers you used. I use the calorie calculator at for foods I'm not familiar with or that don't have nutritional info on the package. 


    According to calorieking, here are some calorie stats for the foods you listed (we don't know what kind of pizza you had, what brand of bread, type of jelly or how much, or size of avocado).

    Pizza - 1 slice (3.8 oz) from a 14" pepperoni w/regular crust is 298 cals

    Bread - 1 lg (1.1 oz) slice of white bread is 79 cals

    Jelly - 1 TBSP (0.7 oz) of concord grape is 50 cals

    Avocado - 1 fruit (7.1 oz)  321 cals

    That would put the calorie total at 1046. Again, we have NO idea what you actually ate in terms of specifics.

    No. A slice of pizza is not 500 calories unless you're eating the world's largest deep dish slice. An average slice of plain pizza has about 285 calories (assume 300-325 for a slice of pepperoni and a little more for sausage). 

    Unless you used half the jar, you did not have 250 calories of jelly. A tablespoon of jelly or jam is usually around 40-60 depending on the flavor and brand.

    An avocado has about 320 calories for the full fruit. Half that if you only had one side.

    Toast varies by brand and type - 100 sounds like a safe bet but you could just check the packaging.
