Could Europe without US and UK help successfully repel a Russian invasion?

That would be a job for NATO.

Probably. Russia's military is a mere shadow of what it was during most of the cold war. And particularly WW II. Any invasion by Russia would have to be after a long build-up of their military forces. The Western democracies would have plenty of time to see this & build-up their own.

If that were the case..........Russia would not be in control of Crimea right now.
They have neither the will or the force to enter into a prolonged war with Russia. They would lose...........badly.
