Politics: Serious question, if we decriminalized crossing the border, and “illegals” got jobs and paid taxes, should they be able to vote?
“No taxation, without representation” and all that.

I think the current situation in my country is that adult residents can vote locally, and citizens (=nationals over 18) can vote nationally.

Can't Vote. The English or Spanish, Netherlands the French can't vote if the live here. Cant's get free health care unless through an Emergency Room or Charity type Clinic. The Legal entrants that are in very large demand to keep Salaries low is hitting America's expansion. They can't find enough oversee's people who want to come to America. I wonder why?

If you come here legally and follow the process to become a naturalized citizen then you get to vote. :Period.

Of course not. We shouldn't even have illegals in the country. We need a halt on immigration all around. We have let in too many immigrants, both legal and illegal.
