Is this an example of a similie?

I'm a bit confused. Would this be an example of a simile?

"His spout is a big one, like a whole shock of wheat, and white as a pile of our Nantucket wool after the great annual sheep-shearing."

You have two similies for the price of one (the clauses introduced by 'like' and 'as')

Her teeth are LIKE stars (they come out at night)

He was as much use AS an ashtray on a motorbike.

Yes..... the "like" or "as" is a giveaway... her smile is like a breath of fresh air...simile.

Her smile is a breath of fresh air...metaphor.
