Is running a PC gaming system off the same outlet as a window air conditioner going to hurt anything?

It isn't likely to hurt anything,
but it still isn't a good idea.
An A/C unit should be the ONLY thing
operating through the circuit breaker that feeds it.

Quite possible damage to the game data which stored in memory while playing and the powerful A/C is switching ON and OFF very often, because A/C generates very powerful spike pulse along the power line while running on and off. Also power surge is bad to computer data while doing data writes back into hard disk.

It could. All the power surges and brownouts that the AC is causing can potentially reduce the lifespan of the power supply.
It might damage more than that...but it's not as likely as just having the Power Supply conk out.
If you don't have anywhere else to put the PC, you might want to invest in an inexpensive UPS (Uninterruptible Power Supply) not so much to keep your PC on when the power goes out...but as a line conditioner that will absorb the power surges and supply constant power when the AC's Compressor kicks on and hits a heavier draw.
