Is it bad or unhealthy to make yourself sleep by making yourself nearly collapse from exhaustion like from running or lifting weights? ?

Exhausting yourself so that you sleep, may not result in you getting the amount of sleep you need to recover from your exhaustion.

Move your question to Health>Other-Health as it's currently in Sports>Running and not really applicable to this subcategory (and thus decreases your chances of getting many useful answers). You can move your question by clicking Edit (pencil icon for mobile)>Edit category just beneath your question, then selecting the category in which it is better suited.

I think it's bad, and for most of us unhealthy.

Exhaustion from exercise doesn't make most people want to fall asleep.  It may make you collapse or lay down to rest until your body recovers from the exertion, but that doesn't necessarily make you sleepy too.For some it may clear their heads of whatever is keeping them from sleep.  Having pushed their body to become mindless - but I wouldn't recommend that - or think it works for everyone.
