Can you go bald from perming hair too much? im planning on cutting 2 inches off then reperming it?

I got my perm one month ago and I am trying to get a new one but this time i’m going to cut 2 inches

    Over processing your hair is never a good idea - and can affect people differently.  Balding or hair loss wouldn't be surprising if you do that.

    Perm's usually last about 90 days, and can be redone safely after that.

  • The amount of time you should wait to re-perm your hair is about six to ten weeks. If your first perm has not turned out good, then the time to wait before getting a bad perm redone is one to two weeks. As for going bald, it's possible perms have a lot of chemicals in them. Or you could end up seriously damaging your hair.

    The 80's called, they want your hairstyle back. Perms are as out of fashion as Mullets.

    Not sure about bald, but you can damage your hair very badly. A month doesn't seem long enough in between. Ask your hairdresser.
