Is it TECHNICALLY possible to get from any one point on Earth to another within that time frame? Yes. But that doesn't mean that it would be possible for the average person. Let's say that your starting point is somewhere in Central Asia and you wish to get to an islet in the South Pacific... You'd have to travel overland to the nearest regional airport, then fly from there to the closest major airport... Then fly from there to the closest major airport to your final destination... And let's say that islet doesn't have its own airport. That would mean you'd have to fly to the nearest island that does have an airport and then complete the trip by boat. Smaller airports don't have flights leaving or arriving every day, it might only be once a week. Trust me on that, I've backpacked into places in the middle of nowhere only to be told that buses or trains only leave once a week, never mind airplanes. Remote villages in the mountains, far flung islands and islets, locations in the Arctic or Antarctic - all of them are difficult to reach and require a good block of time to get there. It is certainly NOT possible to get to any location on Earth from any starting point within that time frame if you don't have access to anything other than standard public transportation and commercial fights.

Yes, it is certainly possible. With all the various potentials for delay it is less likely in practice.

Yes it is.  You can fly commercial Jets to any major city in the world in under 24 hours.

With a Military Jet you can get any place on Earth in 12 hours.

If you don't know that, then you haven't even dipped your toe into the water when it comes to seeing the world.
