Your body chemistry is still off after delivery. You were emotional when you were pregnant but because you body hasn't balanced out yet, you still feel emotional. So give time for your body to get back into balance. Let it heal.
Sometimes knowing why, helps you to talk yourself into getting a grip when you are super depressed.
If you can't get a grip, you can get on medication temporarily until you get back into being your normal self. Talk to your doctor to get a referral to a psychiatrist. Sometimes you have to do this because depression can get SO bad you need meds to get a grip.
You might want to get some therapy. People who don't normally deal with dression might not know how to get ahold of this, so you need help doing so.
except help from family. If you can't do everything on your own because of depression they will understand this and help.
Be gentle with yourself. Fight against your depression by fighting against the depression. Go for walks every day, or go to the gym, watch what you eat. write in your journal, talk it out with loved ones. Reach out!
