Star Wars is a work of fiction, having nothing to do with real world monarchy and peerage.

Your question belongs in https://answers.yahoo.com/dir/index?sid=396545138ย ย ย  which deal with Movies.

It is up to the author to create whatever titles he/she wishes to give fictional characters, how titles are passed to the next generation.

Who ever writes the story can do what he wants. It is like the "Grimm's fairy tales" They are pretty bad. Like a witch eating little children? Or a girl living with 7 dwarfs? Who would do that?

No. Vader was a Sith Lord and his title was not hereditary.
