How fast do germs accumulate in dish cloths? How often should you boil them?

A simple soaking in good strong Clorox bleach is all I need

here in the west we simply use a washing machine.
60 degrees celsius + detergent usually is enough

It can accumulate within hours, if there is food stuff on it. A moist and warm envrironment with food scraps on it is good place for germs. You should clean it daily after using it. Soaking it in water with bleach added can also help kill the germs.

Pretty fast, though the germs die out when the dish cloth is bone dry. You can help eliminate them by adding a little dish soap to the dish cloth when wet.
