celiac disease and fasting?

Can fasting speed recovery from a gluten episode? If I get glutened it takes a couple weeks to recover. Can fasting speed the recovery process?

It would seem, at least from those I know that actually have celiac disease, that the only way they recover from accidentally getting exposed to a trigger, is to make sure they do no ingest, breath or come in contact with their triggers.

Could fasting help YOU? Only way to find out is to try it. So if you already know that having a say, gluten meal of pasta, takes you 2 weeks to feel better. You are going to have to expose yourself, then fast for whatever you think is suppose to help. And sorry to say, it may or may not take several tries to see any sort of repeatable results (if any). Any if fasting works for others, it may not for you.
