if I lower my blood pressure will I eliminate the risk of having another stroke?

can a person have a stroke with normal or low blood pressure

Update:

I had a mini stroke just once the doctor called it a TIA

    Blood pressure isn't the only thing that causes strokes. The thickness of the blood. The triglycerides and the cholesterol is quite important also

    A perfectly healthy person with normal blood pressure can have a stroke. Even thoough having lower blood pressure is better for you over all, it is not the deciding factor as to whether you will or won't have a stroke, or another one if you have had one already. Try talking to your health professional and see what they say.

    Yes, if their cholesterol level of LDL is out of control they certainly can.

    "Lowering the risk" is the better choice of words. If you want a guarantee like "eliminate", there is none.
