Why do I weigh 310 pounds? Can i fix this?

    try intermittent fasting and a low carb diet.. (google it)

    Yes absolutely you can.  Halve everything you eat, and if that doesn't cause you to start losing weight, halve it again.  Exercise helps to some extent too. Don't make the exercise too vigorous, make it something that is easy to do - a nice pleasant brisk walk for a few minutes, which can be extended gradually 5 more minutes here and there until you can go for a full brisk walk for half an hour every morning BEFORE breakfast.  Be patient and be consistent.  Make sure you chew everything very slowly so that you really enjoy and taste it.  Then get down from the table, and away from any left overs.  Put those in the fridge for another day or another meal and be satisfied with what you have already eaten.  Leave the kitchen and never touch the fridge between meals, except perhaps to get milk out for a hot drink.

    Don't BUY anything luxuriously fattening, such as cream cakes, biscuits of any kind which are full of fat and sugar, or chocolate or ice cream, or chips/crisps etc., then when you want those things, you can't have them if they are not in the house.

    Be patient with yourself, only weigh yourself ONCE at the very beginning - don't check the scales again for any reason  - if you fail - don't condemn yourself -  just pick yourself up and go on regardless - and remember that you did not put that weight on over night and you can't expect to lose it over night.  If you are patient with yourself and consistent and satisfied to lose weight slowly but consistently, you will turn around suddenly after a few weeks, and find that many pounds have suddenly gone and your clothes fit better.  

    That's how you measure weight loss - not by the scales but by your waistline and the say your clothes hang and fit.  Once you get some room in them, you will feel better and want to go on.  Let nothing stop you.  Don't mention it to friends, as they will be jealous and do everything possible to sabotage your efforts.  They will say things like - "You are not fat"  "You look smashing and don't need to lose any weight" and they will convince you to give up.

    Keep pressing on regardless.  Keep slim folks in mind and never give in to flattery.  Good luck
