Doesn't the Flu shot actually give you a mild flu,. otherwise shouldn't it be called Anti flu shot.?

    No, it doesn't.  It gives you flu antibodies.  Every single vaccine there is is named for what it prevents.

    Your body reacts to the shot and builds antibodies.  Some people get mild to moderate flu symptoms.

    It is actually called an influenza vaccination. "Flu shot" is just a nickname. It is normally further identified by the strains of influenza it is formulated to provide antibodies for.

    Vaccinations are all named for the diseases they prevent.
