    God is Jesus' biological father. Otherwise he would simply have been a human being like the rest of us.

    In the Reina-Valera (Spanish Protestant) Bible, Jesus calls himself the son of The Man, or the son of God.

    Joseph, Mary’s husband, became Jesus’ adoptive father. The godly man Joseph was engaged to Mary at the time she conceived. In a dream, God’s angel explained to Joseph the wonderful reason why his virgin fiancée was pregnant. The angel said: “Do not be afraid to take Mary your wife home, for that which has been begotten in her is by holy spirit. She will give birth to a son, and you must call his name Jesus, for he will save his people from their sins.” (Matthew 1:20, 21)

    Jesus didn't have a natural earthly father.  Jesus is GOD.  He was conceived by the Holy Spirit supernaturally in Mary's womb.  Joseph brought him up as his father but he was never related by blood. It's all in Matthew 1: 18 - 25

    God is Jesus Christ's Father - nobody else.  Jesus is GOD IN FLESH (John 1:14) That's why Jesus Name was called "Immanuel" because that name when interpreted means "GOD WITH US" and that's what Jesus was when walking this earth God inside a flesh and blood body (John 1:14) and now JEsus is still with us by His Spirit in us

    Mark is the first Gospel and did not report a virgin birth. Chapters 1&2, virgin birth story, did not exist in the original Gospel of Matthew. The virgin birth story first appeared 40 years after Jesus's death.

    Joseph was Jesus' biological father.

    Angel Gabriel appeared to Mary in Joseph's home in Nazareth because Mary and Joseph were already married for over a year and shared that home there. Mary previously lived in a village near Cana.

    14 "Return to us, God Almighty!

        Look down from heaven and see!

    Watch over this vine,

    15 the root your right hand has planted,

        the son you have raised up for yourself.

    16 Your vine is cut down, it is burned with fire;

        at your rebuke your people perish.

    17 Let your hand rest on the man at your right hand,

        the son of man you have raised up for yourself.

    18 Then we will not turn away from you;

        revive us, and we will call on your name.

    19 Restore us, Lord God Almighty;

        make your face shine on us,

        that we may be saved" (Psalm 80-14-19)!

    Son of Man refers to Adam. You need a man and woman to create a person. Good question. How would JC be related to Adam if he was born of a virgin birth? No idea. Adam goes through the men and Eve through the women. If the virgin birth was possible and there was any connection between Adam and JC perhaps Mary's Father's DNA inside of her that made her was replicated to make JC.

    Of course I don't believe in the virgin birth. Traditionally at least JC had no link to Adam since he had no father.

    Quite possibly he was speaking figuratively and not literally. Most likely the case.

      The correct understanding is made more evident by Jesus’ own answer to the high priest’s interrogation, saying: “I am [the Christ, the Son of God]; and you persons will see the Son of man sitting at the right hand of power and coming with the clouds of heaven.”—Mr 14:61, 62; Mt 26:63, 64.
