    m^2 - 4m - 140 = 0

    (m - 14)(m + 10) = 0

    m - 14 = 0 , m + 10 = 0

    m = 14, m = - 10 <----discard m = - 10 since it is negative

    m^2 - 4m = 14^2 - 4(14) = 140° answer//

    x^2 + 4x = 5

    x^2 + 4x - 5 = 0

    (x + 5)(x - 1) = 0

    x + 5 = 0 , x - 1 = 0 

    x = - 5 discard - 5,  x = 1

    x^2 + 4x = (1)^2 + 4(1) = 5 answer//

    m = 14, -10

    x^2 + 4x = 5

    x(x + 4) = 5

    x = 1, -5

    solve :  x² + 4x = 5 & m² - 4m = 140........not hard
