Does god reward you for keeping your body clean.?

Kids need to learn that hygiene is important. Does the bible say they will be rewarded for keeping their body clean and if they don't they will get a punishment. Is this correct?

Our bodies are the temple of the Holy Spirit, and we do need to take care of them.

No.  Consider Lazarus in the story below.

Lk 16:19 “There was a rich man who was dressed in purple and fine linen and lived in luxury every day. 20 At his gate was laid a beggar named Lazarus, covered with sores 21 and longing to eat what fell from the rich man’s table. Even the dogs came and licked his sores.22 “The time came when the beggar died and the angels carried him to Abraham’s side. The rich man also died and was buried.

hygene is important, but its not a forced commandment. unless you listen to personal opinions. i was listening to Dr Tenpenny on vaccines last night, the war room, and she said that washing hands is a major part of staying clean of the flu. something like that. she has a class about vaccines starting in march. so, when i was reading the Tibetan gospel of twelve apostles i noticed that Jesus did defend cleanliness but he also said that its not always about the ability to keep clean all the time. and of course people with some kinds of skin disease cannot use soap and water, as for example those with chronic excema, have a tendency to have skin that will crack and bleed if they wash hands too much. even open pustules. so there has to be some leeway for those that actually attempt to keep clean

and yes there are people that are too poor to buy soap, and there are people even in America that cannot afford 15$ to clean all their clothes each month. and with disabilities that hinder people from work, or even if society exiles men into homelessness THEY cant get jobs to earn enough money to buy food and would die without food assistance. little alone to do laundry

i think the most important things is to clean your hands and now and then to clean the feet. under arms and genitals should see some water to avoid being offensively smelly. and if there are infections in the beard the beard has to be shaven and hair cleaned as often as possible.

Yes, that was part of Old Testament Jewish teaching, which Jesus Christ eliminated.

Whether it does or not, it's a lie.
