Depends on who you are.
For enlightenment or interesting perspective, "The Path of the Higher Self;"
for contemporary political thriller, "Code of Conduct" and similar titles;
for science, "Hyperspace;"
for humor, "In a Sunburned Country" and "The Code of the Woosters."

The Guardians - Grisham. It's a great read with a memorable main character based on a real person. It's also on an important social issue.

You're anonymous. I recommend that you conduct yourself like a civilised human being and ask an honest question without hiding your identity. If I had to recommend a book to someone like you, it would be "The Red Badge of Courage." Why? Take a wild guess.
